I remove thermostat in the spring and put it back in when winter hits,in my 2014 Sierra I use for work. I removed it from my 2018 Sierra because it only get driven in the summer months. And I have the PPE pans on both. So my temps are lower now.

I'm all about doing mods that will extend the life of my truck and the PPE pan was on my radar a couple of months ago. The prices weren't too bad; my only question is how much lower their deep pan is than the OEM?

It adds 2 more quarts to the capacity. Roughly 1.5-2" if memory serves me correctly.
