2025 Suburban LS adding power liftgate

I just bought a 2025 suburban ls. My wife hates that the lift gate is manual. Can I add some part and convert it to power lift gate? If so what do I need? Thank you

In all seriousness, if it was a priority item for you and your wife, should have gone LT to get the power gate.  

 

Definitely not an item that can be added after its built.  The system has the power strut, a liftgate control module and its programming, and all the wiring through the truck for it as the body wiring is different for power gate equipped and manual gate equipped.

Amazing people think modifying vehicles today is doable, this isn't the old days.

yea I already looked into power strut, the control module, and was hoping the wiring might have been there but just not used. The parts aren’t expensive but the wiring part is a no go lol. Thanks

Because I thought it was right on.

If you're like me, you like to keep them for a long time.

That means the manual gate will piss you/her off for a long time. 

I'd be talking to the sales person and finding what it would take to move up one trim level. 

 

For 2025 model, LS is the only trim without power lift.
