Well, I knew 2 people that had their 6.2l blow and both were told a wait time of 2+ months before parts would come in so decided to trade my 2021 AT4 in for a new Chevy 1500 ZR2. Over reaction ? Maybe but didn't want to chance getting stuck waiting months with a crappy loaner just to hope it all gets put back together properly with no issues in the future. It will be a little bit of a change getting used to the baby max engine, the throttle tip in definately is different but so far the ride is amazing and first tank fuel economy was 6 mpg better than my old 6.2l typically got. Still not 100% on the blue color, I'm usually more of a blacked out truck like my old one but it is growing on me more and more. Just need to fit some 34s to fill up the wheel wells better.

41500 which was about what book tradein value was. They had it marked down over 6500 plus 1250 money from GM and 0% financing sealed the deal.

Didn't they have the manufacturing issue corrected so that the recall does not apply to 2025's?

Yes it was corrected in 2024, July or August I think but the truck I traded off was a 2021 in the early part of the recall range
