Adding temp display

Is it possible to add a temperature display rear view mirror on a 99 Silverado? It only has a compass now. What parts would be needed to do this?

Yes, it can be done.

 

Check out Mito Corp. They have the mirror with compass and temp for $249. You might be able to find it discounted elsewhere also. I've never personally installed one, but supposedly they are easy to do and come with good instructions.
