Headliner cleaning?

Recommended Posts

Ok where the headliner starts by the door (where you open the door) on my truck is slightly dirty. I was wondering has anyone cleaned their headliner and if so what did you use?

Thanks

Ryan, I use Tuff Stuff Cleaner (Spray Can and Foams Up). I had one dirty spot on my headliner do not know how it got there but I used Tuff Stuff and wiped it with a damp cloth and it came out. I imagine any capet / upholestry cleaner would do the same. Hope this helps.

If it's grease, try carbureator cleaner. We have been using it for years on our customers cars when one of the techs would get some grease on the seats, carpet, or headliner. It's nice because it evaporates quickly, but if you do a large area, the smell can become overwhelming.

No wonder why I always smell this gas smell after my vehicles get out of the shops. Its called a seat cover or a Towel Guys. It's like going to someones home and sitting on their couch with greased up pants and then trying to hide the evidence. d**n it anyway
