What’s the best aftermarket 6l90e? Don’t need anything built for power, I do a lot of hauling with the truck. I’m at 120k miles and the converter shutter has gotten very bad. Also best after market trans cooler?

I would just get the torque converter replaced. The version of the 6L90 in these trucks is supposed to have several improvements relative to earlier versions.

Curious, what kind of weights are you hauling?  That doesn't seem like many miles for an HD truck to lose it TC.

And what fluid has been used?

I towed a 12k fifth wheel with my 2021 Gas 3500 and my 2024 also. I never saw trans temps over mid 180's on either truck. If youre towing with a gasser and youre having heat control issues with the trans I would suggest it may be an issue other than the cooler.

Had I kept my 2021  my plan was for a billet converter as soon as it was out of warranty.

A heat issue could be caused by the torque converter lockup function not working properly (which causes shuddering), so the shuddering and heat issue could both be cured by replacing the torque converter.

Update:

Have drained trans fluid and it’s slammed with clutch material. I’ve read and heard both that when it gets to that point it’s best to replace trans and get billet converter and pump housing I also got the thermal bypass valve ordered. I believe I’d like to go with a reman over rebuilt. Cost is very close either way. Any suggestions

The truck has 37” tires and a leveling kit trans fluid changed at 47k and 99k miles at gm. I know the tires don’t help I haul about 13-15k with the truck regularly. Does great just started having this issue. It also is making I high pitch knocking/clunking sound at idle and under load doesn’t sound like it’s coming from the engine

Try to find a reputable shop to go through it. Reman can mean very different things and the quality can/will vary wildly. Some will actually rebuild it, others will half ass it just enough to get you down the road. A billet torque converter wont be of much help if the trans is still junk.

Find out specifically what the shop does during the rebuild.

Not sure of your location…, but there is a member here who has a trans shop in Las Vegas, NV.  Search and you can find info on this forum.
