Imagine creating a segregated Super Bowl Halftime Show because you’re so triggered by a multi-lingual man performing that you have to invent your own show full of people who don't look like him, just to cope.

Wow.

I'll watch it later just for the horror.

Besides, who cares if you see a boob or something at halftime. You'd think it would be a welcome diversion after watching two quarters of sweaty men in gear slapping each other's asses.

You really go for the extreme don’t you? Giving people an alternative is like having a Pepsi instead of a Coke. I guess a doggy Supper Bowl is a slight against humans. And funny you’re assuming everyone in my family looks like me. That’s amusing.

It's Turning Point USA. It's a bigoted organization. It's not just an alternative, it's an attempt at cancel culture to draw people away from the Super Bowl because they don't like who is performing and want to insert their agenda. That's pretty extreme, if you ask me.

Politicizing everything including the superbowl.... disgusting.

You are as I suspected. There’s nothing left to say.

No, you lost the argument and now want to hide. Do yourself a favor and ignore what I post so your feelings don't get hurt.

Not at all. I don’t waste time with a person who’s totally opposite from me. I don’t call people or organizations bigots because they may have different ideas. Anyone who has spent anytime researching that organization knows it’s open to anyone. Some of Charlie Kirk’s best friends were different from him. With opposite views. There wasn’t an argument to lose. Just different ideas. So what does that make you? In light of today’s events how could anyone be indifferent. Maybe that’s why you were triggered. I didn’t lose anything. I know a lost cause when I see it.

They're not bigoted, they just spread vicious hate against Trans people and gays? They don't tolerate anyone with different religious beliefs? Really Stan? That's your definition of "not bigoted" ? Apparently they can't even tolerate an American from Puerto Rico singing at the superbowl because they're so offended.

Not at all. His whole tour was high lined with Prove Me Wrong. There was never hate from his side. That was highlighted by his widow. She forgave her husband’s killer. He preached the bible and its teachings. He would say I love you anyway because the bible tells me so. So you’re not religious, that’s fine. He was. Several podcasters who happened to be gay were great friends with Charley Kirk. I never heard of the guy until a few months ago. I stumbled on his prove me wrong event at a college. I did a deep dive honestly because I was amused by the college kids. The young are so idealistic. He won over lots of the kids because he was so considerate, kind and knowledgeable.  They’re starting chapters by the thousands. They like the message. God is the message. A message of hope and love. Nothing wrong with that. If they have an alternative halftime show I’m sure it will be entertaining. Entertaining is what it is about. Not pushing an agenda.

Can you tell me how calling transgender people an “abomination” and a “throbbing middle finger to God, isn't "hate"? Can you tell me how deriding Christians for "loving they neighbor" when the Bible "calls for the stoning of gay people" isn't hate?

He defended gun violence in effect saying dead children are the cost of doing business for having 2nd Amendment rights. He said the person who assaulted and nearly killed Nancy Pelosi's husband shouldn't have been jailed.

All I know is I was raised in a loving household and taught to tell the truth, and judge people by their words and actions. This guy and his company don't seem like good people to me.

But, you do you, hate and violence are obviously something you celebrate. Disgusting!

Turning point is preaching the bible teachings. All religions are the same in the teachings that seem to trigger you. That’s on you. That’s not hate, it’s a belief. I’m a tolerant person. Live and let live. Just because I don’t like something it doesn’t cause me to hate or become intolerant. I hate crowds but I like NASCAR. I’ll watch it on TV. I would love it if everyone had a relationship like I have with my wife. I know gay couples who had long commitments. Transgender I can’t wrap my head around it. The overly showy in your face stuff. Why? I’m not going to judge. I believe they’ll be a judgement. It’s better than the alternative. Some people say it was Gods will that Charley got killed. Maybe the request for thousands of new chapter requests are proof of that. Maybe Charley’s wife will be far better at teaching than Charley was. It’s all something to think about. Maybe it’s hard for you to stomach. I’m more concerned about a young person ability to at least have the chance to decide about God. Maybe reading the bible about the possibility of an afterlife. May keep them away from drugs or a life of crime. Trying to choose a better path because there’s an afterlife. Turning Point gives people that look. That isn’t so bad.

So you basically acknowledge all the hate he spewed -- and that's just the tip of it -- but give it a pass because there's a chance he could indoctrinate a child to believe his way of living (including all the things he publicly hates and spreads lies about). Got it.

You know a lot of people just ignored what was happening in 1930's Germany because they "couldn't wrap their head around it". Someone had to show the just how wrong they were before they woke up and realized what they were doing to other people wasn't actually in the best interest of anything.

Why, as a Christian, would you support someone with such un-Christlike values who also incites division, hatred, and terrorization of minorities, in his own followers? Are there not enough people espousing actual Christian values of love and acceptance, or is that the hate is part of the values?

Well if’s that’s what you got out of it. I’ll just leave you with it.
