I took my 2018 GMC to my dealer in Wallingford CT for an oil change and asked if they could take a look at one sensor (LF) that was not being picked up. They indicated that I need to purchase all four sensors and then turned off the three working sensors so now I have nothing but a continuous tire check light on. Very dissatisfied with customer service and the turning of the three working sensors. Any way to turn them back on?
Much thanks!

I recently went through this on my 2016 Silverado when one of the sensors began to die. I got 10 years out of them so I was on borrowed time already. I was leery of counterfeits and my suspicions were confirmed by @newdude in this thread.

Lots of useful info in that thread. He suggested replacements that were from an OEM supplier and I ordered them. I just went to the local Discount Tire store and had them do the install and programming. It was $25 a wheel to have done. Certain things I will have the dealer do and other things I either do myself or go to other more economical places to have done. I too usually use the dealer for oil changes as it's usually not much more than it would cost to do it myself. They also grease all the fittings as well as do an inspection of many other things at same time. I feel that's worth it.

I just wanted to add that often, the dealers are bound to following company established procedures and don't have a lot of wiggle room. If "x" happens or is found then you must do "y" to fix it. So their solutions are not always the most economical and there are other cheaper solutions. But with that said, if one sensor is failing or has failed, the rest are probably not too far behind so it does make sense to just replace them all especially if they are all about the same age.
