I can relate.  2007 Chevy Tahoe hood was notorious for this.  I added a foam noodle edging when ever under the hood.

What's noticeable and fun?

Much quicker acceleration and torque. Obviously not in increase in numbers just get to them faster.

Its hidden up under the dash.

I always use a canned tune in my vehicles that I didn’t supercharge. People I know that used a pedal master claimed it shortened the stroke of the go pedal. Giving maximum go with less throw.

I decided against this. Making the pedal react faster seemed like a gimmick to make the truck feel or seem more responsive. If I need more of that I can do the same myself by pushing the pedal more (with my extra fat wallet).

On a similar note: my truck feels like it already has an extra aggressive pedal, when cruising going from no pedal to the slightest touch, there is a definite on vs off feel. It's really annoying in traffic.

The throttle by wire DOES seem to have a hefty lag built into it, I run my throttle sensor at level 3 on the Pulsar LT and it feels GREAT 4 and 5 are too many tires squeeling !
