zero to sixty was a 6.87 as well

21 Sierra 2500 CC HD 6L90,  leveled and 35” Toyo open country MT, full 36 gallons of fuel , driver / passenger and about 150 pounds of tools and accessories under the seat

I must say very snappy for a heavy gas truck. I’m currently running the 87 tune with firm shifts and it’s great responsiveness for everyday. The 93 tune power boost is significant they claim 28 hp and 50 lbs ft torque I believe that 💯. The 87/89 tunes are just a small power increase but really wake up the throttle and improve transmission shifts.

Anyway posting for your enjoyment

That's running with IROCs and 5.0s of the late 80s which in context is pretty impressive for a giant heavy brick.

So where's the pre data?  Before the DiabloSport to show the "improvement"?

I’ll admit it’s been awhile. I’ve experienced at least 6 hand held tuners. During that time I could adjust shift points, RPM limits, advance timing to use high octane fuel and later adjust for E-85. All claimed up to 30 HP gains or more. That along with cold air and tuned exhaust. Made the driving experience way more enjoyable. Especially merging on to freeways. Yahoo. Did the numbers actually bare that out? Who cares it felt like it. Why else would they now put different modes to choose from even in trucks? They even add sounds to electric vehicles. With force induction there’s no doubt. I know been there. To ask means you just don’t get it.

well if I didn’t just break my arm and now can’t drive for a while I’d do another tune/ no tune comparison 😄

fyi I did a  0-60 stock  oem wheels and tires with obd mx link before my much heavier  load range F Toyo mud terrain 35s and it was 7.36, so that gives you a sense of marked improvement. I think 6.5 seconds is easily achieved with stock tire size / no passengers or extra weight of things in the truck.

Im not trying to win any drag race but it’s interesting what these trucks and engine  can achieve given the weight of these trucks.

the L8T savanna or express vans with a tune would be downright quick lol
