make it level

i plan on cranking my torsion bars to get my truck to sit level and was wondering if there are any shocks out there that will be lets say 1.5 to 2 inchs longer than stock to acomidate for the cranking.

 

 

i have a 2002 gmc 2500 light duty extended cab shortbed.

You will not need longer shocks if you crank up the torsion bars. You are not increasing the travel of your suspension at all, you are just adjuting the tension on the bars which is changing the height of the truck. Essentially you are using up the suspension drop and when you crank the t-bars to give you lift. The shocks are the proper length to accomodate the full suspension travel of the truck.

while new shocks are not required, i cranked mine up and will be installing rancho 9000x adjustables to help with ride.
