Cabela's under seat storage

Does anyone have this or something similar? I'd like to get lockable storage but I don't want to spend $400 if their is a better value on something else.Cabela's

At one point the general had a locking underseat box for the extended cab trucks. I have one, it's locking, but of hard plastic construction. Therse I believe were supposed to come on those Sierra Professional trucks that were due out about 2 years ago. When the manufacturer first sent them to dealers, the General had the price wrong in the system, so some guys ended up with these for less than $50. I think I paid just shy of $100 for mine.

almost work buying one, get the specs on it take some mesurements and build your own and run them out of business. some places charge too much for such little things.

GUYS.....I have one of the GM ones. Nice.........But over $400 bucks tho.

I scored mine for $200 of a truck bro at PUTC.

If I was on the ball when they 1st came out. I could of scored one from GM

Canada for under $100 bucks !

There is a company called DU-HA I think that has under seat storage like what you're looking for...Do a search on your computer and you should find them...

I bought one from GM that goes under the rear seat but does not have the cover that is on the GMC Professional trucks. It uses some included hardware to lock the seat down over top of it. I did not even install the locking hardware on mine since all I wanted was to keep things from rolling around from under the rear seat.

In fact, after checking the Bestop site, the Bestop and GM piece that I have are exactly the same.

JB..............I checked out the DU-HA bin also. It was just about the

same price as the GM one $368.

They do sell one for Fords too.

I guess I was hoping for a cheaper alternative in a steel case, but the lower price is pretty convincing.

I'd maybe see if you can find a metal or woodshop. Get some measurements taken of your ride and see if they'd be willing to put something together for you. Had I not scored the deal I did, I probably would've had my parents' neighbor build me something. Could always tack some carpeting over the wood or glue it on some thin tin. I can't see spending what they want for these boxes.
