2 Avalanche's

Hey all,

Was at a local dealer and they had 2 more Avalanche's. One was a red with the "Brickyard 400" emblem on the door. Must be one from the race last week that the dealer was able to snag-up. They had it up on a ad-platform so I couldn't see the price and all of the salespeople were inside out of the 100+ weather.

Also saw the first 02 "North Face" edition. It was the fugly green color that I'm not too fond of and price was about the same as the other AV's on the lot ?+. Looks like you get a few extra goodies and the nameplate and that's about it. Still hard for me to justify ?K for a 1/2 ton truck with a 5.3L but hey they are starting to grow on me a bit.

Don't expect to pay 38K. A fully loaded Av can be had for about 34K. Still on the high side but somewhat of an improvement.

Just like the Clothing line by the North Face, it's worth the money you pay of the name. I've got 2 jackets and a day pack from them and they are all still running strong. Although the stuff on the AV will have nothing to do with the perfromance of the truck, I think you do get a bag or 2 from them.
