rap and truck

i know most of you in here hate rap music and prefer rock or that hollering stuff u call country.  well i was watching rap videos on BET today and noticed something, they have trucks too.  in 1998 juvenile used an f-150 in his video for "Ha" (one of the songs that made him popular in the rap world), 1999 or 2000 he used a silverado lowrider in a video.  busta rhymes has a new music video out for his song "break yo neck", and in it is a ford f-150 with lots of mods. bubba sparxx (redneck who tries to rap) has tons of trucks in one of his videos.  in a new rap video from Nappy Roots they show a beautifly restored mid 1960s f-100. escalades and navigators are also popular, and tho they are SUVs, under the skin they are f-150s and silverados.  i cannot even begin to count the number of rap videos with navigators and escalades in them.  just something i noticed, proof that rappers can love trucks too

Well Paco, I don't really consider rap music.  And how they don't get all outa breath is beyond me, as Faith Hill would say," Just Breathe!!!!!!!!!!!!" lol

Besides, what would you rather listen to as your bombing Tora Bora, Danger Zone by kenny Loggins or Number 1 by nelly?   :)

While I enjoy diversity and can even listen to rap for about 25 seconds every now and then, I have to say "Rap is to music what Etch-A-Sketch is to art"  :)

rap is the purest music you'll ever listen to   it comes from the city and the streets...   not the farm or ho down.

exactly, it's about the life that some of us know and live.

I wonder if there is gonna be a new "fling" with rednecks rapping. :)

Although for the most I listen to every type of music, Rap and Heavy rock are the 2 main ones I listen too.

DMX, Ludacris, and Outkast are myfavorite rappers out there for the moment.

And for you rap guys, I have a question.

Who sings "Shake it fast?", and in the song, is there a verse where he goes "DANGER!"?

Thanks

c'mon paco, you know us true silverado owners don't listen to rap.  I don't like it, never have, never will.  Just not enough music.  Just some guys yelling.  IMO they are as bad as boy bands, no musical talent other than singing and some can't even do that.

this flew right over your heads didn't it?  i was not saying you should or will listen to rap, i was saying they like trucks too.  also they have far more talent than boybands.  how much talent can it possibly take to sing country?  country is just a bunch of hollering

well at least someone agrees w/ me that boy bands lack talent.  If I wanted to do what they do all it would take was some dance lessons, fancy clothes, and a bunch of screaming girls.  Boy Bands are truly the worst type of music, it's just a bunch of guys dancing and singing.  No one using instruments.  IMO it doesn't require a lot of talent.
