I hope that with all the great minds on this forum that someone might be able to help me. I have an 95 2500hd duramax with allison and here comes the story, with 840 miles on the truck loaded with toyhauler, bikes gas and beer oh yeah the whole family stopped for gas in the trailer no fuel in the truck and at startup check engine light came on. I thought well lets see this sucks :D tried to drive only to find out no speedo, no tranny temp no shift. fri 5:00pm called dealer said to call for tow , wait thats a whole nother story. any way the long and the short the first time they changed the ignition and then it did it in the next trip not once but twice and then even befor I could get it to the shop it did without the trailer attached. Got it to sthe shop they couldn't find any problem but changed the control module then put 300 miles on it and kept it a week. now I'm just very affraid. any help please, thanks

Sounds like an ignition switch, wiring to/from ignition switch to control module.

When it happens, if you shut off the engine and restart is everything o.k.?
