Just wanted to say hi and intorduce myself.

Names Justin, 22 and im from the Denver area. Just got my truck about a month ago. Fully loaded (well mostly) 05 Colorado Ext. Cab LS Z71 in dark green. The only things i didnt get on the truck are the nerf bars, leather, and XM radio with 6/disc changer. So far im lovin it.

My main intrest is motorcycles though. i have a rather vast collection of 2-wheeld ride, rangin from 1982 to present. - This is actually thr real reason i got the truck in the first place. lol

anyway, just wanted to chime in and say hi and let everyone know im here...

real quick though, anyone know any good sites where i can find a lot of specific specs for my truck?

thanks

- Justin

Try coloradofans.com. It's the only forum out there so far specifically for the Colorado/Canyon.

Forgot- what bikes ya got ??

I have a few-

76 KZ900

78 KZ1000

86 Virago 1100

I want something new. I'd like a new ZX-10, but in a standard-style, semi-fighter style. That'd be sweeeeet.....

well i have a pretty vast collection.... i'll start from the top.

- 2000 Suzuki TL-1000S - Custom Sunburst gold w/ red fading flames, D&D Pipes, Polished frame

- 1997 Honda CBR600F3 - Red/Black Race scheme, carbon RS-3 pipe (full system), carbon fender, airtech plastics, polished wheels, Ohlins rear shock and dampener, corbin gunfighter seat, airbox removed, pod filters in place, progressive springs, stage 3 jetted

- 1995 Honda CBR600F3 - Teal green, Ohlins rear shock and dampener, black wheels with polished lips, polished tripple, straight rate springs, ohlins valves in forks, brembo 4 piston front calipers, carbon fender, carbon wheel hugger, polished yosh RS-3 round race system, Vortex rear sets and clip-ons, corbin seat, OEM plastics, Airtech solo seat race tail (97-98 style), 520 conversion, 14/49 geared, port & polish, timing adjuster, DynoJet PCII computer, polished engine covers - both sides, stainless brake lines front and rear, polished resevior cap, powdercoated silver swinger, manual fan switch, balenced and polished crank, JE forged pistons and rods, 11.25:1 compression, air box delete, K&N pod filters, stage 3 jetted, custom built undertail

1992 Yamaha FZR 600 - yellow right now, but getting painted soon, Airtech "R1" bodywork, R1 tail with custom undertail, YZF tank, Airbox delete, Pod filters, polished: tripple, rear sets, engine covers, carbon: heel gaurds, frame inserts, frame bolt caps, tripple cover, gauge bezel, gauge cover (over the top), ZX6R rear shock, 95 CBR600F3 Rear wheel, 14/47 gearing, 520 conversion, 94 CBR600F2 entire front end, stainless lines, aftermarket fuel pump (7.1 psi), stage 3 jetted, timing adjuster is on the way as well as new stainless valves (FZR's like to eat intake valves), 93 Ford Escort Coil pack (much stronger spark, no more fouling plugs), and V&H powerpack on the way, custom built high mount Yosh RS-3 Oval Carbon pipe with V&H SS headers and EXUP removal.

1984 Honda VF1000F/R Interceptor Hybrid - factory scheme re-painted (graphics painted on instead of decals), stainless lines, polished EVERYTHING, lol, VF1000R motor swap, VF1000R rear end swap, 94 CBR600F2 Forks with polished lower tubes, progressive springs, top end oiling kit, oil pressure gauge, polished dual yosh exhaust (cant find model of exhaust as they dont make it anymore), port and polish, reground cams - gear driven (VF1000R specific), flushmount signals, 530 X-ring cahin with 15/51 gearing, removed about 17 pounds of un-needed metal but gained about 24 pounds of weight in the motor swap. pretty much everything that can be tinkered with has been tinkered with.

1984 Honda VF750F Interceptor - stock except ugly grey paint - just trying to keep this thing running.

1982 Yamaha XZ550 Vision - stock aswell, also trying to keep it running.

1979 Yamaha TT500 Enduro - Super Trapp full exhaust, aftermarket plastic fuel tank, recovered seat, bent right rear shock, no brakes, cracked engine cover. Soon to be restored. - Found this one in the woods abandoned.

i have this problem of not being able to pass up a good deal on a fixer-upper or just a good deal in general. I have been working on all these since i started riding almost 7 years ago. I do all the custom fab and paint work myself so that saves a lot of money.

sorry to jump off topic, i know this is a truck forum so lets relate all this to the truck... ummmm, i can haul them all around with the truck

i would have to say though that bikes are definately my passion and the reason i bought this truck in the first place.

What about the ZRX? My uncle has owned several over the years and currently has an 01 (I believe) ZRX1200. Very pretty bike, imo.

edit: Found a (large) pic for ya ... http://amos.j-source.net/public/pics/Hunts...ville%20034.jpg

Anyway, nice truck and bike collection Rick! :P One question though ... what did the five fingers say to the face?

the ZRXs are great all around bikes and really reliable. they dont handle as good as a sport bike, but they definately are fun.

i would buy one if i had the opertunity too, but i havent come across anything that has been a good deal.
