How do I get my A/C to run on High all the time?

Recommended Posts

Hi all. Hope you can help me out. I have a 1990 Silverado. The A/C does not have a max setting. When the fan is on high it will actually switch to recirculate and the fan speeds up. Problem is, it is very unpredictable and can not be set manuallly, that I know of. Anyone know the secret?

I remember when I first bought it (brand new), someone taught me a trick to turn on the amplifier on the stock stereo. You had to hit a couple of buttons on the radio at the same time, L. bal and Up Volume? or something like that. It was awesome and made the stereo really rock (Has been replaced since) Anywho.....just hoped someone might know a similar trick with the A/C.

Thanks for any help you might be able to offer.
