Thermostat..silly question...

Maybe I'm still asleep? Since they changed the design of the thermostat from the "1 piece" design (pre 2004) I cant seem to find it's location on my truck?

 

Could someone please tell me the location of the thermostat (coolant) on a 2004 Silverado 5.3?
