where is the pcm located !! i feel stupid having to ask this ?? but i've been trying to find it for about an hour i got my pcm tune from wait4meperformance and i'm dying to get it installed. can anyone help !!

Should be under the hood underneath the fuse panel, I think, I have never looked for mine, I went with a handheld programmer.

i already checked there. no luck i'm assuming it is going to be some where simple because the instructions say all i'm going to need is a 7mm socket.

When you look down into the engine bay, to the lower left side of the battery is a black plastic cover. You pull that cover off and there is a metal clip that holds the PCM onto the base. You may have to use a flat-head screwdriver to help pry it off. Once you get it loose, the rest is a piece of cake.

deerhunter is correct.

it's in a plastic box that will take a little finess to open. The box is located around the wheel well on the drivers side. There is 2 rather large wire harnesses attached to it.

Negative my friend, that is the Main fuse box Look at the battery towards the front from there, now look down more towrds the right side of the truck you will see a lblack plastic cover. You may need a 7mm socket when you get the cover off to remove the wiring harness (2x). Have a friend help you, move slow and all is fine!
