Controls for heat/AC...

Does anyone know if the controls for the AC/heat can be moved somewhere else in the truck?? has anyone moved them before?

 

I want to put a 7 inch screen where the radio and Air/heat controls are and I need to move the air/heat controls to do that. I was thinking about putting them on the top where the MPG thing is supposed to be(I don't have it). Any help would be appreciated.

 

mabye the rear heat/ac controls from a suburban could be used?? I dunno.

Ive seen people move them.. most people put them in the center console where the aux tape/cdplayer went... If you have a bench seat then im not sure..

i don't have a bench seat and i am not really sure where you are talking about?

are you talking about actually in the console that has a lid or where??

I would LOVE to be able to move mine. Please let me know or show me a pic where people have moved theirs....thanks, Christian

If you do a search I`ve come across a few people that put it in the consule and the glove box and the center consule it can be put where ever you take the time to put it in

Thankfully they're not using those vacuum line systems anymore. Those really sucked.

I put an 8" where my stereo and ac used to be. Its all electronic so you can move them. The only hard part is extending all of the wires. Are you running a carputer? Miine still isnt fiberglassed in but its there at least.
