RCD light controller

Has anyone installed the headlight controller? I was about to make the conections but had second thoughts. Figured I'd ask if anyone has done this and if everything worked out allright. I just hate those little in line crimps and them wires are pretty small under the fuse pannel.

ive installed it on my truck and works like a charm. The directions were easy to follow and didnt take me long because i was installing them in a none heated garage in about 20 degree weather. go for it man take the plung.

Don't worry - it works like a charm - just be patient with unwraping the wire groups.

for more details. The only thing that I would add is remove the + battery connector to the block - takes some more pressure off - easier to keep it balanced.

i added the headlight controllers and fog on my AV, no problems, works beautifully!!!

This is good news. I have been waiting on someone to come up with the nerve to do this. I did it on my 2000 Silverado and just didn`t want to get into trouble on the AV.

I actually had all the connectors in place ready to snap them down but got to thinking. Them are darn small wires and I'd hate that little connector to snip a few strands. Happened to me on an autostart controller install. Caused all kinds of funky problems including missfires.

 

Is there anything to reset if I disconnect the battery? Other than the clock?
