Revo's

I'm looking for any information that current Revo owners have on their tires. Info such as, wet traction, snow & ice traction, highway noise etc, etc compared to the tires previously owned.

 

Any info would be great!

I like my REVO's. There is more noise than the tires that I had on my last HD which were Michelin LTX M/S.

 

The REVO's were actually my second choice for tires when I bought this truck. I really wanted another set of LTX's, but the Revo's were cheaper and had a $75 rebate to boot. So I figured I'd give them a try sinced the reviews have been excellent. So far I'm very happy with mine.

Let me start out by saying I've NEVER had a good experience with ANY Bridgestone tire I've ever owned. But, the REVO's may change my mind. I really wanted a set of the BF Goodrich TA KO's, but as stated before with a $75 rebate I decided to take the chance. I only have about 3K miles on the tires, but in my estimation they are everything they are made out to be. My 04 crew drives like a different truck. The tire is as quiet as the OEM Bridgestones, as quiet as any AT tire out there. I cannot speak to snow traction yet as we are waiting on our first NC mountain snow, (maybe Friday) but so far so good. Again was was as skeptical as anybody and the jury is still out on wear, but if given the second chance on these tires knowing what I know now I'd definitely buy them again.

about 52k on mine currently. I replaced the stock Wilderness AT's. Great wet traction, it was like night and day. Great in the snow as well. A bit more noise than the previous tires. Very pleased so far. I was fortunate enough to get them when they were brand new and cheap.

I have about 16,000 miles on my REVO's. I too replaced the Wilderness AT's with mine and the difference is amazing. The first time I drove in snow I couldn't believe how well these held the road. I used to be afraid to change lanes with that slush, but now it's no problem whatsoever. I also have had good experience in mud with these tires compared to the Wilderness. In terms of road noise, I've noticed mine to be a little louder when they are cold. Once warmed up, I don't even notice. All around these are great tires and I would definitely recommend them.

I have about 5K on my Revo's and they are a nice tire. Tires before were Nitto Terra Grapplers and they were junk tires. These are much better. The Nitto's wore down to nothing in about 30K mikes.

The Revo's are the best tire I have ever owned, I drive in deep snow in up state NY where we snowmobile. I have had 6 Suburbans and could not get more than 15k out of a set of tires, my last Surburban got over 45k from a set of Revo's, my Escalade has 30k on the Revo's with plenty of tread left. They are very good in dry weather, great in wet weather and snow. I will get this tire again.

I did several searches on the site but none of the info was what I was looking for. This thread has given me more info than all of the others combined.
