Lights

Hello,

My truck does not have the feature to keep the lights on at night after you get out. My 2000 GA does and I love it!!! What would it take to hook up to my light sensor, headlights, ect., to install this. Any insight would be great!

Maybe this is controlled by the computer? They had to tell it I had fogs so they would work, mybe it is just a program thing? Any thoughts?

I think you should have this feature my 02 does and I do believe you are right about the issue being with the computer. After I had my foglights installed my keyless entry did not work. They had to reprogram it a second time.

Are you talking about the headlights or the interior lights?

The headlights, my Grand Am's headlights stay on at night for 60 seconds to give you time to get to the front door, then they automatically shut off. I just wonder if the dealer can program that or not? They had to do it for the fogs?

Don't believe that can be programmed in. Sounds like the twilight sentinel feature they put in many of the cars. Usually they have an adjustable timer built into the headlight switch. But I have noticed that GM had been putting that feature in some models without an adjustable timer.
