Door un-lock program

I have an 03 DMax. In the manual it says that you can program the door locks to automatically lock and unlock. Two different things you have to do; problem: it's written in the manual as the same programming method!

The door lock program works, just need to find out what the program sequence is for the auto unlock!

KT.........You can adjust your locks to 3 locking settings

1. All doors lock when put into gear.

2. All doors lock at 8 mph.

3. No automatic door locking

 

Or 4 different un-locking settings

1. Drivers door unlocks in park

2. All doors unlock in park

3. All doors unlock when key is removed.

4. No automatic door unlock.

 

Check pages 2-10 and 2-11 in your owners manual for instructions.

Thanks Sonjaab, in my manual it is miss-printed and tells me to do the same procedure for both, but I did find out that if I push the unlock button, I can do the program.

is there some way to add the unlock feature to my 99, I don;t think I have that option

No, I think I can handle it from this end Sonjaab! I just had to find out which button to push to do the programming.
