1979 K1500 4x4 - front end problems

I recently replaced all the tie rod ends, ball joints and front drive axles on my truck because it had alot of slack in the steering and at speeds above 40mph the drivers side wheel would start shaking really bad, as if the wheel were coming off and would make it where you couldnt steer much at all. After replacing all those parts, it resolved nothing....there is still alot of slack in the steering and the wheel does the exact same thing. My truck does have a 4" lift and I am running 33x12.5 mud tires. What else could it be?

 

I jacked up the front end today to see if the wheels were loose in any way....they are tight and unmoveable by hand (up/down, left/right). It does have a shock mounted to the long tie rod arm and it seems to be kinda worn out.....could that have anything to do with my problems?
