99-02 Silverado HD Hood

I am looking for a 99-02 Silverado HD hood that I plan to use on my 03 Suburban. If no one is selling one than does anyone have any sugestions where to get one? I have looked on the web with no luck. Thanks, Rick

The 99-02 HD hood is not a single entity. There are 2 versions. The hood on the HD got taller (they added the "power dome") in 01. Is that what you're looking for?

eh, to be fair the HD didn't even come out in the new body style until 2001. 2000 and earlier 2500 HDs and 3500s were still in the OBS. I know, I have one ;)

The 99/2000 model 2500 was/is the light duty edition which was rebadged to the 1500HD (for crew cab models), still called a 2500 for regular and extended cabs.

But back on topic, if the above offer doesn't work for you, the price the dealer pays is around $322. Gmpartsdirect.com may be a good alternative as well. But do yourself a favor, and don't mess with aftermarket parts

Well I cannot speak for all 99 2500's but I will tell you this. I have a 99 NBS 2500 HD and it came factory with the powerdome hood but not the 01 style grille. I have the window sticker in hand that states its a 2500HD not a 2500.
