Should I upgrade my wheels/tires?

Hello all, Just wondering who else thinks I should go with larger rims/tires for my 2500LT, This is my family trip vehicle and to tow my 24' enclosed car trailer. Suggestions welcomed.

Those are by far the sexiest rims GM has ever put on an HD truck as far as I'm concerned. I'd love it if I could get a six lug set of those!

Personally like the 2500HD wheels a lot. For one thing, they're forged (not cast like just about every other GM wheel). The only negative is that they are only 6.5" wide if I remember correclty, meaning they're not ideal for wide tires. That said, A LOT of people put 285/75R16 tires on those with nop problem.

 

I'd think it would look quite a bit better with 265/75R16s or 285/75R16s. I'm fond of Bridgestone Revos and BFG A/Ts.

I am sorry, I didn't say what size are on the truck now.

 

It has LT245/75R16's, I suppose they will suffice until I need to replace them. I will look at the difference between the current and the 265/285's.
