Where is the best place to buy one of those Mats or carpet like things that go on the center console. they usually are embroidered with either GMC or Silverado or chevy. I've seen someone on this site with a Grey one on their truck. any info would be very helpful. thanks

Performance Products sells the center console insert.  Also while your there sign up for there magazine.  It is centered around your model truck so it's very convenient.  However a lot of there prices are a bit steep so shop around.  But for the insert they are the only ones I know that sell them.

Jon's right, the only place I've seen them is performanceproducts.com. It was $22.90 (including shipping). It sticks on with a peel off backing, and fits the recess perfectly.

I just put the console pad in my 2002 tahoe z71.  I ordered the grey one, which looked great in my 2 tone grey and graphite interior.  I would suggest it to anyone with that color combo.

What other colors do they come in?  My interior is the pewter leather but I assume it is close to grey in color.  Thinkin about gettin one too.

I have one and it is great!!!  It keeps the cell phone etc. from sliding around.  I bought mine from Performance Products.
