Replaced Rubber Mats with Factory Carpet in 2006WT

The dealer told me factory carpets were not an available option on my 2006 GMC Reg Cab WT when I ordered it.

 

After driving it a couple of months, checked several after-market suppliers and found them either too expensive or they didn't make them for reg cab trucks!?

 

Dropped by the dealer and ordered the factory carpet for $125.00 and with a couple of hours of my fumbling time removing the seats, door sills, and dash brace, they were installed...........no trimming, no muss, no fuss, just lay them in place over the guide posts and they are positioned perfectly .....looks awesome.

 

FYI the local upholstery shop wanted $200.00 to install the carpet.

Thought some of the budget minded guys like me, might appreciate this info.

That is too cheap for a dealer price. Were they on crack when they sold it to you...Good Deal!

Why?? I love my rubber floor.. It's about the most sensible thing you can have in a car, or truck.

Yep, the price surprised me too.........carpet listed for 240.18, and got it for 125.00 plus 10.00 tax.

Also got a chrome grill that listed for 560.71 for 298.25, and fog lamp pkg, listed for 228.48 for 128.00. Strange part is.......this is not the dealership where I ordered the truck from! Nice guys though.

Is your truck an extended cab?
