On my 04 yukon xl the rear two doors dont lock w/ drivers switch or remote. They both unlock fine and the front two doors lock and unlock. I checked fuses. Anythoughts? Tx

There's a separate lock and unlock relay for the rear doors only. They're in the fuse block on the left side of the dash. Try swapping the two relays and if they now lock okay but don't unlock, you have a bad relay.

We have a similar problem with our power locks when controlled by the remote.

It started a few weeks ago. When I used the remote to unlock the doors, the front (at least the driver's door for sure) door(s) would unlock but the tailgate and the rear pax doors would remain locked. The in-door actuators would not engage. After repeated tries, the same thing would happen every time.

Then I opened the driver's door and pushed the unlock button in the door panel. The rear doors would still not unlock. Pushing the button to lock the doors and then unlock would still not unlock the rear doors.

Then I started the truck, and with the engine running, the door unlock button would finally unlock the rear doors.

Since then, it has become unpredictable as to whether the remote (and even the door panel button) would unlock the rear doors. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Though, it seems to be more likely that the rear doors would not unlock than that they would.

:banghead::rolleyes:
