200 Z71 Pictures

Hey all,

 

I've been here for quite some time, but couldn't figure out how to post pics back then I figured it out, so it's about time I posted some! Here's my 2000 Z71. I bought it less than 2 years ago with 67K on the clock, it currently has a little over 95K (yeah, I drive too much.) It's a 3dr 5.3L ex. cab Z71 4x4. The best part is that it's about 3 payments from being "mine"!

 

The pics are from this summer after a wax job, a few months ago I added the brush guard, and the most recent pics are from November when I finished my '67 project truck.

I love the 67. I drive it more than the Z71 now (I live close to work). I've owned it since 1996. It has a 350 and 700R4 so it gets very respectable fuel mileage. I'm getting about 13 city and 16 highway. The Z gets 15/18. The 67 was 100% homebuilt, paint and all. I did "buy" a crate engine and rebuilt 700R4, other than that, everything else was installed/modified/painted/etc. by me (with some help from my dad and uncle) at my uncle's garage (white garage in background.) I still live in the stupid apartment complex in the first pics

I have a '71 GMC I drove for my first 2 years of driving that is sitting at mom & dad's returning to dust, been sitting there for 8 years. One of these days I hope to have some time & cash to make it look and drive new again.
