You can change torque managment and abuse mode. I don't have mine in front of me but I think the settiing is in modify tune or modify performance.

Thats what i thought, that it would be in modify tune. I cant seem to find it though, ill have to check the version number. Maybe earlier versions didnt have it. I bought it used on eBay for $120.

I had one installed in my SS and I am 99.9% sure that you can not remove torque management with the Predator. A custom tune can though.

I was at their web site last night reading up on the Predator for an o4 2500 HD with the 6.0L and that was one of the options listed. It had torque management abuse mode time limit ON/OFF and % torque reduction vs. ON/OFF. This is the address I saw it at.http://www.diablosport.com/index.php?module=htmlpages&func=display&pid=65 . The model number is &7193.

Yeah, i dont know where everyone else is getting their info, but yeah, you are supposed to be able to remove Torque Management with it. I think i might have an older software version though. I still havent called the predator guys.

So in your opinion is it worth the money. Did you notice much performance gain. All I have done so far is replace the stock muffler with a Dynomax Xflo but plan on a trueflo filter and programming. I wanted to get the Wester tuning but I'm afraid that will void my extended warranty.

It was very worth it considering i only paid 120 for it. There is a very noticable increase in power. Having the cruise set at 55 my truck used to downshift on some of the hills around here, now on the same hills it doesnt even flinch. The 92 octane tune is awesome. Im trying the 87 tune right now. I like having the ability to choose which tune i want. Being able to change the fuel and spark at WOT is also nice. I have been playing with the realtime data mode. I was going to replace my o2's but ive been monitoring them with the predator and they are fine. It is well worth the money.

I have the same muffler as you. The Dual 3in in/out Xflow. Do you get any resonance? I get a little but its not too bad, some guys are saying they arent getting any with this muffler.

Installing a Wester's, PCM4Less, Wait4Me or any other performance tune would not void your factory warranty.

Not to bad on the resonance. My brother has the Flowmaster Super40 dual 2.5 in/out and gets a lot more than I do. You can conversate at speed without having to speak up. I like it not to loud or quiet. Thanks for the info on the programmer. I think I am going to get the Predator instead of the reflash. I don't race the truck and I do pull a 32 ft camper so I think the handheld programmer will be just fine for my needs. I had the Superchip programmer for my dodge 4.7 and was very pleased with that one. Thanks again for the help

I was disappointed with my 6.0 on large hills pulling 5000 pounds. I'm starting to believe a chevy dealer mechanic deliberately tuned my engine to underperform. The truck is rated over 10,000 lbs tow capacity. The 5,000 pounds, I tow, is only half the rating but feels like I'm pulling the full 10,000 lbs. I remember going uphill near 5,000 rpms.

Anyone try towing in third with or without tow/haul mode (climbing) ?

Where can I purchase a tuner that would give me more torque ?

I do not see your location listed anywhere...... are you near sea level or higher?

near sea level; don't matter; a 300 hp 6.0 should perform better.
