Crew Cab Behind The Seat Storage

Looking for some storage for behind the rear seat for a crew cab truck. I really like the Du-Ha storage bins:

http://www.duhastorage.com/

Those who have them, do you like it? Where is the best price? I can't seem to find them any cheaper than about $150.

Are there any other options out there asside from building something yourself?

I've got a duha for my ext cab. Overall I'm happy, keeps things from sliding around all over. They sorta rip you off on price (It's basically just an injection molded bin), but that's how everything is I guess. But to answer the question, I do like it. I keep chains, towstrap, flashlight, first aid kit, etc in it. I got mine from realtrucks.com. This site has a discount with them, 7% off or something like that (was enough to compensate for shipping on my order I think).

I looked around and it looked like the Du Ha was about the best bet for something like that.

I decided to just use my Bass Pro waterproof boat bag slid under the driver's side rear seat.

Holds my road atlas, tow strap, jumper cables, first aid kit, road flares, tire iron, flashlight and a few other things. If I ever need to move it to fit something in the back with the seat up, I can be comfortable just throwing this thing in the bed.

But for long guns not in a case and whatnot, the Du Ha would be a great option.

GUYS........A few years back I bought the GM underseat storage

box. At the time (01) they could have been bought for $125 bucks

from any GM parts counter!

GM made A pricing boo boo and rejected my order for one then

raised the price to $275. I scored one off the net for $150 plus

shipping.............

Fast forward to 07 they are now $368 clams !!!!!!!!!!!!!

But for a inexpensive behind the seat storage idea. Check your local

parts house. My girl bought me a behind the seat mounted storage

pocket thingee. It would of mounted on the back of the cab wall

and had seperate pockets to hold stuff. Wouldn't work cause my x-cabs

rear seat back won't fold down like the crews do.................

My bud bought the DU-HA underseat bin. No cover and it only cost $100

when he bought it. But it serves the purpose !...........geo

I found this Dee-Zee cab organizer at cabelas.

I kind of like having the separate shelves over the Du-Ha and I definitely like the price better.

The one review was not good stating that the double sided tape does not hold. If it fits back there, I could rig something using the baby seat mounts on the back wall to mount it.

On the Dee-Zee site it says it's for the regular cab only, but I think the crew cab has the same arrangement and space behind the rear seats as the regular cab has behind the front seats.

Anyone have one of these? Any positives or negatives?

I don't know about the '06, but the rear seat on my '07 NBS only folds up from the bottom, not down from the back.

I think those are meant for regular cabs.

The rear seatback on the previous generation style crew cabs ('04-'06 + '07 classic) fold down from the top. I'm going to take some measurements. I think it might fit. Worst case I order it, it doesn't fit, and I have to return it.

Pep Boys (I normally never go there) has this for $67. Maybe I'll get it through them to ease the return if I have to.

Looks like based on the measurements it will be really tight for the Dee-Zee cab organizer due to the air ducts and jack stand behind the rear seat.

Anyone know if the area behind the seat of a regular cab is the same set-up as behind the seat of the crew-cab ('04-'06, + '07 classic)? I.e. are the same ducts and tire change hard-ware located on the floor up against the rear wall behind the seats of a regular cab just like the crew-cab?

I've got one, stuffed it with emergency kit, tie down stuff, you name it. It sure neatens up the back. You can't tell anything is there at all. It's totally hidden and a perfect fit. Recommended.
