On my 04 burb

 

want to change frt diff - what kind and how to drain and fill ?

want to change transfer case - what kind, how much ?

Your front diff should have a drain and a fill hole (2), making it an easy job. I use synthetic gear oils in my diffs, I use Amsoil, another good choce would be Red Line, Royal Purple or Mobil 1 is ok too. Not sure what transfer case you have, I know with mine there is no aftermarket oil and I have to get the oil from the dealer, I change mine every 25k miles.
