I got my 08 Sierra last November. Dealer trying to get rid of 08s to make room for 09s.

It's a Sierra Crew Cab SLT, Z71 4x4, 3.73, and every option but sunroof and nav.

Sticker was 43,900. With rebates I walked out the door paying 33,300.

2009 Sierra Denali with every option except integrated trailer brake controller - i got the 20's, sun roof, nav system, sliding rear window, heated steering wheel, cooled seats, and rear seat ent. system.

Sticker was $53,200. I paid $43,000 which includes TTL. I got $12,000 for trade on an '03 Silverado. I thought I did pretty good.

Even though I completely disagree with our government giving money away...I would also have been stupid to leave money on the table. I just traded my 89 Ford F150 in on a new Silverado. My Ford with over 200,000 miles had an engine fire about a year ago from transmission fluid puking out through the dipstick tube onto the exhaust manifold. I never got it all straightened out after that and it barely ran over about 10% throttle, so it sat. I never turned in the plate, so I kept insurance on it...chock up one to procrastination. On Thursday, I had a friend come over to follow me to the dealership about 10 miles away. I get in it and get it started just to have it not go into gear. After adding 4 qts of transmission fluid I got it to move. Next, it ran out of gas about 2 miles away from the dealership...so I got to purchase a $20 gas can just to put a couple of gallons of gas in it to get it there...but it made it. That made it streetable...but just barely. This got me 4,500 for a truck I almost called the junkyard to come haul off many times...but put off because I didn't want to clean everything out of it.

I purchased an 09 Silverado LT Extended Cab on Friday...first day they got the ruling on the Cash for Clunkers. Since it is a lot of typing to tell everything on the truck...here is a copy of the window sticker off the internet.

2009 5.3 Z71 3.42 SLE with cloth bucket seats ( I hate the fold up console on these NBS). Got them to add the remote start. Had no trade-in. Sticker price on the truck was $38,850. I bought it for $29,175.

They tried to push me around cause I'm only 20 but I knew more about the trucks than they did. You also know its good when you have the dealership calling you saying "Are you coming back?!?" :P

Paid $28000 out the door for 2009 Silverado 1500 LT Extended cab with 5.3L, heavy duty tow package, limited slip diff. A bit over invoice, but the only white one in Miami with that wasn't a work truck.

Around $30,500 for my 09 Silverado Z71 LT back in January. It has the 5.3L with Cloth Bucket Seats and the Floor Center Console. It also came with a GM Performance Grill Inserts and 3" Tubular Steps. The first day I looked at it I left without buying. I got home and they called me before work and told me if I bought it they would give me another $1500 off so I caved. Glad I did its a sweet truck and the dealer was awesome!

Wow the first dealer I went to was a real joke. I looked and drove the same truck you have only in the deep red color and they would only go down to $38,000 on it. You got a great deal on that truck they are sweet!

I bought a crew cab 2500hd 6.0 cloth LS 4wd in 2005 when employee pricing was going on. Window sticker was $38001.00 and I wrote the check for $29,277.00. Still got it, not sure why? odometer reads 22,700.

i'll play as well.

2008 SILVERADO LT 1

extended cab, auto, ac/

Temp mirror stuff.

31,700 i believe was the sticker on the truck,

But i traded in my colorado which was only a year old and they gave me 10,500 for it,

And out the door w/ the silverado as of 12-12-08 it was 25k.

Love the truck and was a xmas gift to myself , always wanted one and decided what the heck.

But pretty bad lack of equity i had to roll in so kinda messed me up a lil in the out the door part. But oh well,,,,,,,,,

On October 11, 2008, regular gas was $4/gal here.

2008 Silverado WT, longbed, 4.3L V-6, cloth interior, 5 miles on the clock.

Sticker $19,450. Paid $14,200 out-the-door including TTL. Dealer also filled it up with a full tank of that $4/gal gas. Was very pleased with the deal.

First off, I'm new. So Hey, what's up? I bought my 'rado NEW in November of '08 and it currently has 18k miles

2008 Silverado CC/OB LT

5.3 / 4AT

Cruise Control

Power windows / door locks / mirrors

Front bench w/ black cloth

17" wheels with 245/70/17 baby tires

Essentially its an LS with a couple options including the 5.3 upgrade

Sticker $32,800 / Paid $22,000 and some change

Almost bought a LS SBM CC with 4.8L, no cruise control, no power, rubber floors for around $24,000.

It had 20" GMPP wheels that I really liked, but the 5.3 won my torque contest [=

I think thus far I am fairing okay. This is in Canadian Peso's as well, not USD.

My trucks list is $52,280

2010 GMC ext cab stnd box 4X4 SLT

Options are:

CF5 Sunroof

NHT Package ( 6.2/6L80E/373 geared 9.5" 14 bolt with discs/17" Rims)

UUN 6 cd changer

58U Carbon Black Metallic

PDF Locking EZ lift tailgate

UG1 Universal Home remote

VAT Chrome Mesh Grill

K05 Block Heater

JL1 Intergrated Trailer Brake Controller

Otherwise all the other SLT stuff like heated memory leather seats and whatnot. Truck is Carbon Black Metallic with Ebony Interior.

Invoice was $48765

Minus

$8000 Canadian GM rebate

$1000 Holiday Gift

$1000 Loyalty Gift

So $10000 off invoice.

Works out to $40972 all fees and taxes included. If the incentives increase by the time I get the truck we take more money off. If not, I am locked in at the current amount. I can't complain too much.
