My power sliding back glass on my NBS 07 GMC stopped working today. I can hear it trying to work but glass will not move. Has any one else experienced this on thier NBS trucks. Wondered if there was a TSB or anything any one knows of. Thanks in advance for any info!

Thanks thats what I was looking for!

have you gotten this fixed yet? I am looking at two almost identical 07's. The difference is the color and the power sliding window. When it is working, do you like the window? Does it create much noise? I am thinking it would be cool to have, but I can't stand the noise from open windows and sunroofs. Also, up here in Vermont having the defogger is helpful.

I have the rear sliding window and really like it. It creates nice flow through ventilation, keeping the cab comfortable without having to run the A/C. The only noise I hear when it's open is the flapping from my tonneau cover! I'm thinking of replacing it with a solid cover that will eleminate that noise!

The only thing I would change is to have it active all the time. It never fails, I'll turn off the truck, reach up to close the rear slider, and about half way it stops because my wife opens the passenger door! I'm thinking a little electro-shock therepy might break her of that, or, I may try and figure out how to keep the power hot to the rear slider all the time!

Be careful with the electro-shock theropy. Mild pulsing shocks get better results than a large jolt at once. And you don't have to clean your sets afterward.

The truck I ordered has the sliding glass window and I look forward to it. But it is getting cold around here. Good advise on the tonneu cover, have not gotten that far but good to know.

Question to the originator: How long did you have your truck before it broke?

I have it and love it. It's great with a aftermarket cat-back system also.:D

I feel your pain. The power slider just stopped working in my Ram. It's defiantly a must have feature.

I just had to get the regulator for mine because of the exact problem. I know the back seat has to come out (which does not look hard to do) but I do not know about pulling the trim off of the rear of the cab. The parts look like a do it your selfer but not sure about getting to it.

Just FYI, I did one tonight. Step one, bring a friend to get the freaking seats in and back out without damaging the doors. Step 2, be patient. It is a bear but definately doable. And make sure when you get the seats and seat belts back in you get the RIGHT TORQUE on them so you dont have a rear seat passenger pass you if you have a wreck.

I just opened mine up to find out what the problem was ........ spool is jacked and so is the cable! The window is a must have for me. Off to find parts!

I've got the rear slider and sunroof, and love them both. If it's really hot out I open both and crank up the tunes! Usually it will be one or the other. The GM sunroof is amazingly quiet to even highway speeds.
