Good news! after going back and forth with the dealer and regional rep, my salesman called me today and informed me that my seat covers are getting replaced on thursday! At no cost to me. Yay for me, has anyone had any progress? Is this a national "fix" from GM, or is this just a result of my constant calling and threats?

I would ask to see the material first. There is evidence (in this thread even) that they are replacing the center material in the seats but not the outside material, which is where a lot of the lint collects. Read back a few pages, it's in here somewhere I think.

I would make sure they are really providing a true fix rather than just giving you something to shut you up.

I was going to say the same thing,I haven't seen an updated bulletin with new part numbers yet,Just the old part numbers in the parts catalog which is the same old material that collects lint.

Wow, definitely keep us posted. Something isn't adding up here. It reminds me of that Seinfeld episode where Kramer is at the corner of First St and First St. "I must be at the nexus of the universe!"

I was the first and only person to complain to my local dealer about this, I went in with the TSB last month and one of the service personnel was surprised but commented about his Yukon having this problem also. I am hoping that more of you inform us that the new covers are in so that I can inform my dealership to get some.

I just called three local dealers. Two said there was no update. The third said he hoped to see something in the next six to eight months. Let us know what you find out at the dealership.
