Gmpartsdirect Shipping Times?

I just ordered some "special order" parts for GMPartsDirect and am courious if anyone else has done this and roughly how long it took to get your order? It says it takes 7-10 days to just ship a normal item so I'm a little worried how long, but their prices are awesome so I'm hoping it's not too bad. TIA

I'd be 10x more concerned with how MUCH they charge for shipping/handling. It's insane.

Their shipping is a bit steep especially when most places are offering free ground shipping (which is what you're getting if it takes 7-10 days!). I did order some small parts from them and shipping was about average, I did get the parts prior to the 10 day window though.

Exactly, charging a percentage of the item as the shipping charge on top of their 'handling' charge is outrageous.

takes about 2 weeks to get the stuff , i ordered a replacement steering wheel with radio controls Oct 26th and its still in process - shipping cost - well I'm North of Seatlle so you get used to expensive shipping from the East coast
