ok thanks!! Also, i am looking into getting a leveling kit. From what i measured, my front wheel well is 35 1/2 in from the ground to the middle of my wheel well flare and the back is 38 in. Is there a leveling kit that will make my front 38 in. because i looked at rough country and it looks like there kit is only 1.5 inches? I am new to all this so i hope this made sense!!!

If you crank, depending on the rim, you may be able to fit 305's as well. 305's in most cases are the same diameter or even a bit smaller than 285's there just a lot wider.

Don't buy a leveling kit it is a waste of money just crank the stock keys up and it will give you the same results.

I had 305/70/R16 Baja Claws on a 16x10 wheel on my 2001 Z71 with my torsion bars maxed. They scrubbed, but I took my grinder and cut alot of metal off the body. I now have 285/75/R16 on the 16x10 wheels and they don't scrub as bad, but it definitely sits a little higher. You can do it. Plus my rims have lots of offset, just not sure how much.

305's are not safe to run on the stock 7" wide wheel. The minimum rim width for a 305 is an 8", and if you put 305's on an 8" wheel with stock suspension they'll rub like hell. The widest you can safely go on stock wheels is 295.

It's not a problem, the rim width is a recommendation. I have known many people that run 315's on stock rims. You should be fine up to 315's any bigger and you probably want to look at wider rims.

Btw with Ford Keys and a 1 inch block you can have 315's on stock rims with absolutely no rub!
