Sunset Orange 2500hd

Looking for prod.#'s for 2001 gmc 2500hd 4x4 reg. cab in sunset orange. The color was also listed poss; a brown of some sort, any info is appreciated. If anyone could tell me if they have at least seen another one.

Other than a number of Avalanches, the only time I've seen a sunset orange truck was a 1500 EC 4x4 99-02 model. I live in East TN, so it might be more of a regional thing. Good looking truck, though.

Im here in CT and my buddy had a 01 Chevy 2500HD Reg cab in the Sun Set Orange. Nice looking color.

Thank's for the respone's from everone. "Vortec HD" that is one sharp buggy you don't see many rclb's done up good job. Your buddy's HD was it solid or 2 tone? I have seen one 2 tone 1500 in this area (northeast Pa.).

Never seen a truck around my area in SOM, just f-bodies (and not many of those). Bet it looks nice !

I remember the color. When it first came out there was a 2500HD Quad Cab 4X4 Duramax at my local dealership. I remember i wanted that truck so bad. Its the only one to this day that I have seen. It was kind of a copper/burnt orange color.

Sunset Orange is/was? also offered as a fleet only color in all GM trucks: 54U C WA258L

 

 

The sunset orange metallic 71U is different.
