I want to install a set of factory driving lights and on /off button on a 06 GMC.

 

Are the trucks pre-wired for this option?

 

Are the rear view mirrors wired so I could swap one with a temp /comp option?

If you are talking about the fog lights you can get them as a kit from GM or one of the online retailers for GM parts. I had to install a sensor plus run the wire for the temp. on the mirror swap. I used the power from the pass air bag light.
