First Gm

I know this sounds dumb but I have found myself with is what I think is a good deal! But I have no owners manual and I would like to see the build sheet for this truck it is a 2006 4 door crew cab z71 off road 5.3 VIN 2GTEK13T061117862 I bought it at a sale I am a long time ford owner this is the first gmc I've owned,(30 years on the road and getting quite the rash from my gm friends) any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

It's got 100000 km. I payed 22000 cdn. its got leather heated seat (this I like) power seats moon roof mirrors that dim and turn down when you back up sterring wheel contols onstar and a pile of stuff I'm not sure of pretty loaded I think? I'll try and load a pic tomorrow night file to large not a real whiz at the old computer.

I can only imagine what your friends are giving you; if I was to switch I may have to move (its all in fun of course). good luck with the truck.

KBB said that fo ryour truck in excellent condition suggested retail was like $23,750 in american money. So I think thats pretty close if you sold it you could try and get more. I dont know what else your truck might have for accessories but I am sure that we got the gist of it.

I have been driving nothing but Fords as well and taking the ribbing from the GM folks. Never had a problem so why switch, until the deal of a lifetime came along! Funny thing is I converted a couple of guys to Ford (Vans) and eventually everyone just got used to my Fords. Should have seen the look when they saw me pull-up in a Chevy! It was priceless!

 

 

I am quite happy with my Silverado, haven't had it long enough to judge long-term reliability, but for the short term it's been great. There are several aspects I like much better about GM, and this may make me a convert!

Welcome to the site, & GM truck scene. I'm the same I was a Ford guy, my F150 was stolen and totaled ( rip ) and my dads friend was selling a 2500HD and he was egar to sell and did not want to see me get another Ford, so $15,000 & it was mine, incredible deal lol. Sounds like you have an excellent truck! The more you drive it and learn more about it, the more you will like it more than Ford, happened to me
