So, I'm getting many problems with my truck lately and thought we should all come together and talk about some things that have been going wrong with our nbs trucks..

Heres a list of my problems:

- Transmission (Jerks from 1st to 2nd, 2nd to 1st delay after coming to stop)

- Inside plastic starting to come off

- Water inside of both front headlights

- Passenger wiper heated windshield fluid not going through

- Brakes squeak in mornings

UPDATE:

- Gas gauge acts weird sometimes

Wow... sorry for your luck...

I have had ZERO issues thus far.... granted, it's only been 5 months and 6500 miles, but... geeez.

yeah, what do you mean plastic coming off?

I don't know if I have EVER owned a car that didn't produce SOME brake noise when cold.... ?!

If by problem you mean things I've taken the truck back to the dealer for or called them about....... NONE.

Have there been some quirks that I've learned to deal with? Sure... They can't be perfect, though, or they'd charge a lot more for 'em! :D

EDIT : Oh, yeah - 7 months, 9300 miles.

Crooked door molding (Fixed)

Door molding coming off (New)

Leaking rear main seal (Fixed)

Parking assist sensor failed (Fixed)

Moisture in passenger taillight (New)

Cracked lower window trim from factory (Fixed)

The rear main seal was a pretty big deal but the rest of it isn't/wasn't that bad.

OnStar has been the only issue requiring Warranty service. Overall I am very happy with my truck, don't think there is a better one produced out there right now.

I'd have to agree...

Wanna hear some Ford horror stories from the last 3 Ford's I've owned since '02 ???????

I don't know if the server has enough disk space for that :D

Off-topic. . .but Darkanion you're truck is VERY nice! It's very clean - I like it.

I have had a leaky transmission front seal fixed. I have a starter drive hanging up on the cold weather starts and a drivers window squeak. I am planning to go to the dealer Friday to see if they can fix or schedule a repair time. Otherwise everything is great. I have seen 19.9 average mpg once, but could not hit the magic 20mpg mark yet. This is with a vortex max and 4:10 gears. Pretty good for that combo and tow rating. I am very happy.

Well, thank you! It ain't always clean, but I try to keep it that way, when I can. You can click the "CO Trip" link in my sig for a few not-as-clean-but-not-filthy pictures. "Around Town" has some pictures from this past weekend.

Ok... Back to the originally scheduled topic... Sorry, everyone!

So far no trips to the dealer for me (approx 4600 miles).

I did repair the exhaust popping noise and a squeaky passenger window myself, but no other issues to report. Both took me about 20 minutes total. I am quite pleased. This is the best initial quality new truck I've had since my 2001 Silverado. My 05 had a few issues.

I have had my truck for 8 months now with just over 5000 miles (job is close). But I have had no trouble with mine. I have done a few mods to it but none to fix a problem.

I'm sorry, its not plastic, its like rubber. There are 2 pillars inside the truck and on the passenger side, the rubber that runs down on the pillar has come off, I think the pillar moved? And also the steps in the rear passenger side is broken so I think that's why the pillar has moved.
