How Many Problems Have You Had With Your GMT-900?

I have about 5000 on my 07.

Sometimes when rolling up to a light then stop, i feel the trans Jerk,

like a valve did'nt move when it was supposed to, then did late.

Also when windows up, radio off, I hear a combination whistle/hissing noise,

coming on and off. Other than that, its great !

I have had my truck 11 months exactly today, and have 14,300 miles on it. I would have over 20k on it but I broke both legs in august, and it did not get driven much for 3 months. The only problem that I have is the drivers outside door molding is peeling off. I had it at the dealer 2 weeks ago getting the factory remote start programmed (works great BTW), and they ordered the door molding, but then they have to send it out to get painted so I'm still waiting. So relatively no problems, not a single squeek or rattle inside, and i'm very very picky about this, so I love this truck.

Got my fuel gauge looked at today, and it is the same problem that the previous TSB talks about. Parts are back ordered so I guess it will be a few weeks. Looks like everyone is having problems with this.

On your case with a list like that, I think you have a LEMON. Call your dealership and report in to your State GM district manager. Otherwise youll go on thinking theyre all junk and wont stop bitching about your problems.

I guess I have been lucky, for my 2001 Suburban it never had any big issues at all. The only one was wind noise at highway speeds, and that got fixed. Other than that it had no other problems the entire time I owned it (2001-2006). And so far(knock on wood)on my 2006 3/4ton I have had no problems at all. I mean nothing has gone wrong at all. The only thing that came up was a P0300 which is due to my performane PCM being in, and that has only came up 2 times in the 7000+ miles I have on this truck. Once I get the crank relearn done I will be good to go.

07 Sierra WT 4x4 Ext Cab 5.3 5700 miles

Right turn signal blew at 63 miles, dealer fixed

Rear brake squeal since day two, dealer fixed

Front brake squeal when cold, not going to bother.

Bad sensor under passenger seat at 140 miles, dealer fixed

Have the tranny "nudge" but is intermittant

Gas gauge just started acting funky.

Nagging female voice coming from passenger area. Dealer cannot replicate problem, advised to pull seat, weld passenger door shut.

Overall, extremely happy with truck.

That's a long list for a new truck. I would not be happy either.

2007 Sierra 2500HD crew cab. Door pillar trim not staying in place (poor design of threshold plates will replace with stainless steel) Transmission hunts when coming to a stop (can't replicate, tsb maybe ?) Horrible rattle in dash at highway speed and into a head wind, more wind dependant than road surface. (not to the dealer yet), white paint peeling from front bumper, thought I saw a tsb for this.

So, I'm getting many problems with my truck lately and thought we should all come together and talk about some things that have been going wrong with our nbs trucks..

Heres a list of my problems:

- Transmission (Jerks from 1st to 2nd, 2nd to 1st delay after coming to stop)

- Inside plastic starting to come off

- Water inside of both front headlights

- Passenger wiper heated windshield fluid not going through

- Brakes squeak in mornings

UPDATE:

- Gas gauge acts weird sometimes

I had a powered solonoid valve replaced in my tranny.

Haven't had any of the other problems, the 03's can tell their own story.

You haven't lived until you've gone through the Intermediate Steering Shaft debacle

:D:D:D

btw: excuse my ignorance, but what does nbs stand for?
