Exactly like the topic says...what color is you NBS and why did you choose it??

Many of you may have seen my post about the black 2008 Sierra I was about to buy...but it never happened. I was going to go with black...BUT, I'm also liking the Stealth Gray...

What color would you choose for a 2008 Sierra Extended Cab 4x4??

I ended up with a black EC Silverado. The only colors I cared for were black, dark gray, and dark blue. The one I found with the options I wanted was black. I really did not have a preference among those three colors though. It's hard to keep clean but looks d**n good when it is.

I like the graystone metallic, which is the color of my truck. Nice, light color and easy to keep clean. My second choice would be burgundy metallic.

I like your idea. I think an extended cab 4X4 Sierra in Stealth Gray would look amazing! I too was torn between that and black but just decided I didn't have the time to keep up with black. I liked this color on the 800's and when I saw it on the 900's, it looked even better. Check some of the links in my signature for better pictures.

Silver birch metallic cause it looks clean when its dirty, and its usually dirty.

Right on! I didn't choose my truck for the color, as I'd rather pick 'em based on mechanical configurations/options. But the silverbirch has grown on me. I like the way it looks grayish on a cloudy day and more tan-like in the sun.

The only downside is that it's not as glamorous when sparkling clean as some of the other GM colors.

That is a nice color unit, and the matching shell on a LBRC is the way to go, I have always done that with the ones I had.

Actually, I debated color for a long time.

Wheatland (tan color) was one choice.

Another was a light green. Formally used on the Border Patrol.

But finally decided with input from others (who hated the light green) on dark green.

It blends in and is non-descript. The dark green, that is.

And as one member stated: Park Ranger Green.

I've already had a white truck, a red truck, two blue trucks, and a black truck. Something new, something different, this time.

No question about it, there is only one true color...and it is Black!!!

But since I am now almost 42 and very busy (aka lazy), I chose the only other choice...Steel Gray. It always looks clean...well, almost always, right now my truck is dirty and it shows. I still get a tear in my eye (metaphorically speaking) whenever I see my brother driving my nice clean 2000 GMC.

No regrets though, I don't miss the upkeep.

Steel Gray FTW!!!

VMax,

Sure is funny you mention Steel Gray. We have, in stock, a loaded 2008 Sierra 1500 Ext Cab. Only problem-it has way too many options that I would truthfully never use.

Funny, I used to think that too. But I use'em all.

What does it have, which ones don't you think you'd use?

I love Unit731's green truck because it is unlike everybody else's.

I went with RED. It has sortof become my signature color. When I buy a new truck, my friends ask me "What color red did you get?".
