Nav Help With 03 Denali

Hi, I am needing some information on a navigation installation for my 03 Yukon Denali. I took it to the dealer to have my Nav unit installed. They had it ready to go but said when they were programming the vehicle the program would not take. They called TAC for a VCI number to program but they told them non were available for my vehicle.

 

I bought the factory unit on eBay and it was unlocked. It was my understanding that it was just a plug and play procedure. Does anyone know anything about this VCI number, or have any ideas on what I can do to get this Nav unit to work?

it is directly from GM, VCI= vehicle configuration index. This number may be obtained from the Techline Customer Support. IMO, they are lying to you and dont want to deal with it.....
