Anyone Watching The New Knight Rider?

Well, I thought that new Terminator series was the stupidest looking series. At least until I saw the knight rider previews! I mean, I think I actually hate everything about it, the new voice, the ford, cheasy actions scenes, acting, etc.

 

But yeah, I'm going to watch it. I feel I should give it a chance before I really bash it.

Yeaaaahh. I was actually recording it on the DVR to watch it later, but then I accidentally switched to it when I turned on the TV. Big mistake. I only managed to watch it for 3 very long minutes before I deleted it.

I liked it, pretty good, but some of the cars affects are a bit out of it, like changing its paint on command & all that lol. d**n the Hoff looks way different

Well I sat through the whole thing. I just can't get used to KITT being a mustang and the whole paint changing thing and val kilmer being the voice. It kinda reminds me of the show viper. How that car changed into two different ones. I will probably check out the next episode just to give it a chance but man I just don't know about it. The begining seemed more like an add for ford the way they kept showing the cobra symbol and closeups on the car. But they did have a GMC Yukon and a Chevy suburban.

They tried to pay homage to the original K.I.T.T., but was inaccurate. They showed a TPI plenum, the original (not that it was ever shown in the original show) was a cross-fire TBI.

 

The stang doesn't fit. It should have been a Pontiac G8 at the very least. But it all depends on the producers. Maybe GM rejected the idea because the timing would have been conflicting with Transformers and/or a new TA F-Body doesn't seem to be planned.

 

I thought it was very crass of the Hoff'ster to be eating a burger all over the casket while crying that he should care more.

I didnt watch it. The preveiw commercials looked stupid.

 

I guess Hollywood will have to remake something else, since they have no creativitity.

How 'bout a remake of Gomer Pyle, All in the Family, CHiPS, MacGyver, or even ALF? Bet the kids wont know any of these.

A friend of mine called me to tell me it was on so I went into my workshop and watched a bit of it. It was so lame, I put Blue Thunder in the DVD player instead.

 

I love how ALL the vehicles on the swervy road were F*RDS...even the old-ass truck. I would take that blue Cobra though. Is there something wrong with me???

I saw it and wasnt to bad but I dont think ill make it a point to watch it again. I agree the paint changing thing was dumb along with speeding up the camera to make it look like he was going like 300 MPH and when the Yukon "T" boned kitt, sheesh.
