Jumped up to 3.51 / 3.61 / 3.71 within 12 hrs of posting

 

Diesel : $3.97

here in canada, or at least edmonton right now is $1.014 per litre which is $3.85 per gallon, and thats considered cheap!! (and thats just regular!)

Just about the same in upstate NY. :D

200 miles south to NJ, .40 cents per gallon cheaper.

 

 

I really don't get that. Here, we have people to pump our gas for us, but it's still cheaper. I always hate buying gas when I go skiing.

 

I just pait $3.04 for 87 the other day.

I normally ignore the price, but I actually just filled up today (all by myself)! So it just so happens I have the receipt. Here's the price in Central Texas. At least as the local Texaco I go to often.

 

$3.339/G (93 Octane)

16.485 Gallons

$55.04 Total

$3.15 for 87 here in East Texas...

 

Diesel is $3.85!! I remember way back when it used to be cheaper than gas by 40 cents or so...

It's 1.07 / litre here in Ottawa.

At 3.78 litres per US gallon, that would be $4.04 gallon.

      2015 Sierra 1500 here. Leaks from the sunroof to front driver side and soaks carpet. How do I fix this? Thanks!

      I will be doing that for sure, but I need to solve who has/ where I can find a bidirectional scan tool that will support OBD 1.5. I'm kicking myself because I ebay'ed a Snap On MT2500 that I didn't think I'd ever need anymore. D'oh!! I'd rather not buy another, so I'll contact a few local shops to see if they have one and how much they'd want to do the procedure. I'd rather have the ability to do it myself... I wish there was a modern tool that could do it all, but I'd have no idea what to buy.   The theory with the pulled timing is that it mimics a rich condition. The delayed spark causes incomplete burn and the O2 sensor picks up low oxygen levels. That's interpreted as a rich condition so the PCM pulls fuel and that shows up in the deeply negative fuel trims.

      There's a bunch of tea leaves that you've read, but in any case the delayed timing is unusual. Not sure how that relates to the rich at idle vs. 'normal' while driving.   If you're in this deep, might be worth investigating, and re-learning the sensor. What have you got to lose? Plus, it properly fixes the timing cover leak.

      The only problem I have seen this cause is longer crank times.
