Sunroof Mishap

The other day, I was cleaning out the winter mess from the inside of my truck. I'm guessing that's when I must have bumped the sunroof button.

The next day, we got 15 inches of snow (Welsome to spring in Wisconsin). Today, on the way to Easter with the family, she notices that she is getting dripped on. Noticing that it is coming from the sunroof, I thought it a great idea to slide the sunroof panel back to see where the leak was coming from. I saw it coming and moved out of the way. The old lady was not so fortunate, as 15" of snow fell directly onto her. I laughed my a$$ off. She's not talking to me. Just thought I'd share, have a good one!

I'd laugh...But I've done almost as bad.

A few weeks ago we had a big thunderstorm...I'd driven the SS to work that night.

I got out there to go home, and it's bright, sunny and warm warm warm. One of the first nice days we've had in a while. SO I get in the truck, roll down the windows, open the sunroof, put on the shades, and off we go!

Until I stopped at the first light and all that water that was beaded up on my nice wax job on the roof? Yeah...It all just POURED in the sunroof and all over me and the leather. I felt like such a tard.

I've done exactly that once. After the first time I always wait till after I come to a complete stop at least once (and watch the water run down the windshield from the roof) before opening the sunroof

Perhaps another reason I don't miss the Sun roof....

Ok, maybe I do miss it. Still a funny story with the snow though....
