What's My 2007 Crew Cab 4x4 Worth?

Hi guys, I'm getting ready to sell my 2007 Crew Cab Chevrolet, and wondering what it's worth, or what people would be willing to pay for it. Here are the options:

15,000 miles

Spray in liner

4x4 Z71

Crew Cab

Towing package W/ locking rear

5.3L V8

LT1 package

LT2 convenience package ( allow wheels, remote start)

I believe those are the important options.

Sticker was $35,540. I'd like to get $25,500 out of it. KBB.com has Excelleting condition to private seller listed as $26,500.

Thanks for any input.

It's worth exactly forty seven dollars. Do you take cash?

Gotta cut him some slack, he's old and blind! :smash:

But if its in good condition and selling to a private party, I would say you could probably get at least $25,000 if the demand is good enough, and you don't sell to the first person who offers you $22,000.

I'll give you $48, cash on delivery.

$50 here...

As long as it doesn't have 20s on it, I'll give you $100 :)

I think you can get what you are asking but as stated earlier, demand will drive the price. Keep it nice and clean and post a big ole 4SALE sign in the window. I bet you will get tons of responses. Try and remain patient and see what happens. Sorry to hear about your pay cut :) . Lord knows we all need every cent we can get with gas going to damn near $4.00 per gallon. :)

When I was looking at buying a Silverado, I saw some 2007 CC. with less options than you have listed, and they where going for about $27K. These trucks where at about 25-30K miles on them, and like I said, not including the options. This was in late December, early January, so you should be pretty good with your $25K price. Good Luck, and God bless.

With the current gas prices, it may be hard to sell this thing for a good price. Realistically, I would not expect to get more than about $ 21k out of it. the reason is there is a glut of used full size trucks on the market right now and they cannot sell them.

I don't see getting $26k for the truck. Unfortunately, as Pete said, this isn't exactly a great time to get top dollar for a gas guzzler. With KBB, I'd go by the "Good" pricing for your truck. You'll also want to check out Edmunds, NADA, etc. But more importantly, you need to see what other similar trucks are going for your in your local market. Could be more or less depending on demand.

Just get it looking really good, take lots of pics, throw them on-line, and list the truck all over the place. Local papers, craigslist, etc. Good luck!

Yep, my thoughts exactly... Another market factor would be a short-term supply shortage of new due to the effects of recent strikes. This could be the best/last window of opportunity to sell given the climbing gas prices.

A good place to start is looking at on-line market sites in your area for comparables. This is often a better indication than kbb of it's market value relative to your community. The value you can get will really depend on your ability to wait on your price. If you intend to buy a more economical replacement vehicle and are burried in debt up to your eyeballs on this truck, you may be better off to cut your losses and trade it.

Thanks for the comments... I've seen several local dealers selling similar trucks for $27-28k. So I figured 25-26k to private party may work. I've looked in the local AutoRV magazines, and cannot find anyone selling any 2007's. People seem to be holding onto them. Next week my add will go in. Hopefully I can sell it pretty quickly and get on with my life. I've taken gas prices into consideration, but highly doubt the gas prices will cause a 4k cut in the price of the truck. 10 mpg on a 3/4 ton truck doesn't seem to hurt sales, so $4 a gallon shouldn't either... I noticed inventories at the local dealers are a little lower than normal, plus people can no longer order trucks to their liking. So those should be a couple advantages on my side.

Bummer........But for a few bucks more anybody can get a NEW 08 !!!!!!!!!

And you know the dealer will give you auction value of less than $20k.

Theres a post over at gminsidenews where a guy had to sell his "wondertruck"

07 blundra that stickered for $32k. He got a big $19k !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With GM now using the 6-speed auto, I can't think of any reason to buy a Tundra.

A family member bought a Tundra in August for $32k - he had to sell it last month and only got $19k.

$4.00+ gas and a lousy economy makes for lousy resale on our trucks!

That's why I am keeping the '07. Rather put the $8,000 into the truck than into the dealer's pocket.
